Nation Forum 2027 Sets Out Six Agendas for Thailand's Future

Nation Forum 2027 has laid out six core agendas meant to guide Thailand's development in the years ahead. They cover economic and technological growth, from building data centres to putting AI and robotics to work, along with people-focused priorities such as retraining the workforce and preparing for longer, healthier lives.
The organisers also want to highlight the value of Thailand's creative culture and national identity, looking past the tourism industry that has long defined the country's image.
The forum's premise is that the world is shifting faster than ever across technology, the economy, finance, energy, demographics, health, and new openings for Thailand. Under the banner 'Thailand's Agenda', the event will examine six areas that could shape the country's direction:
- Building a digital economy: laying the groundwork for Thailand's digital economy and moving the country toward becoming a digital hub.
- Technology as an economic engine: exploring how technological change can become a fresh source of growth.
- Opportunities in uncertainty: turning an unpredictable global environment into new investment prospects.
- Rethinking education: bringing schools and businesses closer together and developing talent through reskilling and upskilling.
- Healthy longevity: shifting the focus from simply living longer to designing lives that are genuinely well lived.
- Beyond natural and tourism assets: reimagining Thailand's strengths and adding value through Thai identity and creative culture.
The central question the forum poses is how Thailand should prepare for a world undergoing deep change. Answers will be explored at Nation Forum 2027: Thailand's Agenda, held on 20 October 2026 from 10:00am to 4:30pm at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.
Attendees will be able to choose the agenda that matters most to them. Registration details and further information will be announced later.
